You may call me, Fermis tweezer hands! Hopefully I'll still have 20/20 after this! I do believe/hope that the hardest parts are behind me. If not, you won't hear from me again, cuz I'll blow my brains out! I have always tipped my hat to small scale ship builders, but now, my hat's off to them! I have been slowly adding bits to the hull/deck as I worked on other parts. All the major components are finished now. Here's the BIG (yeah, that's sarcasm) gun. 18 pieces!!!
The small gun consists of 7 pieces, and that A$$H0!E on the right is a cradle for torpedo loading. We did not get along too well. I thought I had words for the railing on the tower........for the first time ever, I actually got up and walked away......not once, not twice......FOUR times, while workin on those 14 pieces of he!!. By the end, I found myself off in the weeds, talkin to myself! Many of the worst words I have ever heard, flew off my tongue at it. It just stared back, tauntingly. I don't think I had as many words for ModelCraft's F-82!
I had some rum and feel much better now!
Some deck shots.
Just a few words for the railing, very tame compared to the cradle!
Tower and goods set in place (these will all be painted seperately).
The trough toward the front is the torpedo loading hatch.
Will be adding color shortly!!!!
I can't wait to build an airplane again!
