Two Subs and Two Planes on a desk ?
Posted by tankerbuilder on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 5:41 PM

I got bit by a Dragon .Hmmmm.

H.M.S. Trafalgar and the Oscar Class Soviet sub and the NimrodMR2. By Bae and a Westland Sea King .HAS 5 - 1/700 - OOOPS !

Couldn't help myself . All this stuff for 12.00 bucks ! Those teensy planes are a blast to look at and the subs . Well , the " OSCAR " is only 8 -1/16 inches long .The Brit even smaller !

They do look great in a retired " Mini " Fish Tank for a display medium . Gosh , I wish I could get this photo post thing going .Don't mis-understand . I learn better when someone is sitting right here and I can watch the steps they take .

Takes me back to the late seventies when Somebody ( don't remember whom ) released a very , very tiny A-7-B Harrier .The wingspan , I think was only about and inch and a half . My wife insisted it sit on the Coffee Table next to a bowl of fake fruit .She would then tell the ladies that visited she had a Very large fruit-fly in the house or bombed up as it was , a very angry Mosquito !

These subs reminded me of that . They were actually a lot of fun to mess with though .
