 The Lighting for picture taking is pretty good thru the windshield and you get to stay out of the weather. That space is going to be tough once you get the masts on. Maybe move to a van?

One thing, that has been bugging me for a long time (other than why are the photos mostly taken in a car) is why are the decks totally flat - my idea was always that the decks should be bulged to let the water drain overboard better. So how about those decks here - was this ship special in this respect?

The side to side slope is added when the decks are glued in, by adding a splice strip under the center seem---then bending the deck down at the otter edges.  Grate post--flatt decks bug me to, so ALL my scratch built ships slope side to side.  Have you seen the rest of my wood ship collection ?

The rest of the sailing ship model collection is plastic kit models.  And thair is also a Nautiilus Submarine made from 1/16" balsa wood sticks covered with stritched paper.  OK--now back to the main subject of the thred.
