German ship modeler builder, Karl Weinmann, submitted his progress build of a Dutch statenjacht of 1747 at 1/50 scale. Here are pictures of the jacht assembly.
A Dutch statenjacht was a special ship used during the 17th to the 19th centuries to transport important Dutch admiralty officials from shore to ship and return. Hence, its ornate exterior and comforts inside the vessel.
