Thank you Nino!

I just used Squadron Green for filling gaps.  The rigging was thread from Model Expo (designed for the wooden ship modelers), painted gray.  The ratlines were from Tom's Modelworks.

As I get back into the hobby I hope my skills will come back.  This model will make a nice gift for Mom, but I'm hoping to become a worthy brother over time.

Nice job on the old Revell kit.  If that's Stretched Sprue for the antena wire it is really good work.  It's tough to keep it a consistant diameter. The wood deck color looks pristene, just Holystoned.

Seems like you did a good job with Putty too.  Squadron green stuff?

Your pictures did not show up in your (original)Post, only the links. Not to worry..., getting pictures into a post can be daunting at times. ( Your EDIT worked fine-Pics now show.)For some tips on posting pictures take a look at:

Forum Technical Assistance

Lots of good advice there on posting pictures.

Glad you rejoined the hobby.

Picturetrail is a  hosting site I, and most other members probably had not heard of before. Your links to the site do work but to save having to click a link to see your pictures I thought I might add in one of your photo's directly to the Post so that others can see it.  I  hope you can forgive my un-requested assistance. Feel free to ask for help on any issue.  That's the best part of these FSM forums.

I hadn't done much modeling in a long time and my skills have atrophied, but I managed to squeeze out a halfway decent Titanic recently.
