I just noticed today that Kalmbach thinks my email account applied for on-line subscriptions to nearly all of the web magazines.
Any one else see this, before I go steaming off to the head honchos?

Yes, but it's not too hard, just tedious, to unsubscribe. What's weird is that the spam is showing up in email account that AFAIK is not linked to them.

If that's the case, I wonder if their database may have been hacked and these may be phishing emials from bad guys?
Has anyone clicked hotlinks to see if credit card info, etc is being requested?

I believe this is the case, and clicking on the link may be a bad idea. Just delete the emails, and call it a day.
