Greetings fellow modelers!
After a long absence I am posting some pics of my latest build -Trumpters 1/48th scale uboat U-552. Man o man this was a FUN build! This kit made me feel like a young kid again. The fit was great with no issues. The box said 1100+ parts but it seemed like there were a lot more.
It was built straight out of the box with the only additions being a set of LED lights to show off the detailed interior. When I came home with box in hand my wife first said "Where you gonna put it?" and then said "You're never gonna finish it!" Oh man thems fighten' words!
Well after about 4 -5 months and about 300+ hours I got her done and here's the pics:

Thanks for for replies gentlmen - the model is about 4 feet long - the biggest issue building it was it's size
