I'm in for watchng this build.  I finished the Hasagawa 1/700 Akagi last year.  Great and interesting subject.

Thanks for the comments Gents. I am doing her OOB to concentrate on her Finish and Weathering. After doing the full works on the Bismarck for 6 Months I wanted to do something a little easier. OK her Basic Hull is together so won't be long before some Paint gets laid on......Cheers mark

That should present nicely Surf.  I'm fascinated with how this ship was actually built from the battle cruiser hull, and the kit really shows this.

Thanks Mate. The Flight Deck was a very good fit as you can see from the following Pics. Her main Hull Assemblies are complete and awaiting some weathering.....Cheers Mark

OK more has been done to the old Girl. Timing is great since they just located her Wreck along with the Kaga. The Flight Deck is decalled and her A/A is now onboard. Some weathering has been done but there is more to come. More To come soon.....Cheers Mark
