Sorry About That!

This is a model of a High Speed turbine powered Gunboat .I don't remember the class name. One large gun in front and a very interesting deckhouse.

nothing showing up in this link about U.S.S.Crockett unless you are talking about 1 of the 2 Haskell class ships Montrose or Randall?

Oh Boy .

I stepped in it this time.I went to the Museum on a workday! The crew doesn't know diddly about boats or ships.Guess what? " Hey ,You're here! We need some Shrimp boats and a Coast Guard Cutter and How About a Beer Tanker and something else?".

This is to be for the " New Harbor" we've created because of the need to change the old off scale Harbor Display on the " N " scale layout. The "Old " display had the Revell U.S.S.Crockett painted in Coastie Colors and The " Spy Trawler" at the docks and a KIBRI European Canal boat as a Container Ship .The backdrop was painted in such a way we had a Tsunami coming in on the other side of the twin bridges! Plus all three boats were NOT 1/160 Scale

No Container Ship now.But we have to get " Finger Piers" for eight Shrimpers and the Beer Tanker. The new Cutter is going to be inbound from the direction of the bridges where we now have a decent horizon. There will be ,seeing as how I got Bamboozled into this a model of my Uncle Joe's Tuna Clipper ( Circa 1957) at a pier of it's own with her name prominent in view i/e the " Tina Marie " ( My Aunt's name.)

     Please wish me luck !
