At 1/200, the 11.5lpi is 440mm long, or a handy 18" or so.
At 1/700 those links scale to 60", which is going to be a bit out of scale.

In The Yards - USS ESSEX 1/700 Hasegawa 1945, USS ESSEX 1/700 Dragon 1944, USS ESSEX 1/700 Trumpeter 1945, USS ESSEX 1/540 Revell (vintage) 1962, USS ESSEX 1/350 Trumpeter 1942, USS ESSEX LHD-2 as commissioned, converted from USS Wasp kit Gallery Models. Plus 35 other plastic and wood ship kits.
Except that the size of the ship is a major factor.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Okay, for the record, Major ship anchor chain is cast figure 8 shaped and called 'dielock' chain. for smaller craft, 'stud link' is used. stud link looks like a regular long oval with a bar across the center. now, the chance of finding either in actual chain suitable for scale 1/350 and 1/200 is like "ain't gonna happen". On the other hand, regular oval link chain suitable for those scales is find-able. for 1/200 you can use 22 LPI or smaller, for 1/350 I'd try for 26 - 28 LPI or smaller. Good luck.

I think that the 3D chain has real potential. So far I have only been able to find it in the larger scales.
I'm not happy with jewelry chain. It's tricky to find it with oval flat links and of course barred or studded chain does not exist from that source.
Model railroad chain seems to be a good option. Or, I tend to skip over replacing it.
My searchings have never yealded studded 1/350 anchor chain. I usally get my chain from eBad although not studded. Unless you scratch the studs, I found you just have to live with some things as is. Like Ed said, you might want to try 3D printed.

Model railroad brand Campbell makes some blackened chain. I have found their 45 LPI looks good on 1:350 scale cruiser & smaller subjects.
Panzer Models sells some copper chains in similar size. Can be painted or blackened.
Someone makes 3D printed stud-link chain. Not too sure of scale. Will tend to be a bit more expensive

That type is called 'studded' anchor chain. Search with that term, and your desired scale, and you may have better results.
In 1/350 there are some photoetch anchor and anchor chain sets. I believe Flyhawk makes some, there may be others.
But really, to look three-dimensionsal in 1/350 or 1/200, real chain is best. Try the beading/bead making section of a big box hobby store. Look for plain chains with plain round (not "twisted") links. Finding a chain with oval links is a bonus. In those scales you have to go with what looks right to you.
Another possible source is model railroading websites, they stock chains in a variety of small sizes.
I'm a 1/700 ships guy, so the issue is a little simpler, lots of choices and in that scale, the one-dimensional PE anchor chain looks just fine to me.
