Since the Atago is a Takao class Heavy Crusier, you could use either the Gold Medal sets or the Lion’s Roar set. Gold Medal PE is heavy duty and holds up pretty well to my hamfisted attempts at using PE. The Lion‘s Roar set comes with resin upgrades and metal barrels as well. It’s more on the delicate side and needs a light touch. Here are some links and I hope they help.

Looking for a 1/350 p/e set for IJN Atago or similar. I thought that there was a set made but maybe its been discontinued. Any clue would be appreciated. Thanks
