The clear green is a bit too "lime" for my taste.
My inclination would be to start with a layer of thalo blue mixed with gel medium (over a mottled gray base).
Over that, would thalo green cut with a bit more gel medium, and not a complete coat. Probably with some blue pallet knifed into it.
The top coat would likely be an ocher with a speck of green, and heavily (as in 2:1) cut in gloss medium.
These would be laid flat, no real ripples or waves; that would be added in a surface coat of clear gloss medium.
And this would be tested on some scrap to refine the technique.
