Hmm, yes some discrepancie there. No idea what 18 pieces means either.

Nice project.

You know the take off point was the same for all sixteen aircraft. And at least in transit there's an SBD in there somewhere on starboard side.

Gator Masks makes a set for the 1/350 kit, and probably one in 1/700 as well. Highly recommended.

EDIT: They do. Google search of masks was... challenging.

Howdy. I think this is the right place... Just an FYI incase an of y'all order these. Anyway, I ordered Trumpeter aircraft set #03401 B-25 Mitchell in 1/700 scale. Couldnt see the picture clear on the website I ordered from, but it said 18 pcs.

I think, "Cool!" When they arrive, I open the package.. Box says "6 sets, 18 pcs." I open the box....... Imagine a big red X with a two second buzzer. It's 6 sets ok, but 6 sets of 2.

Ok, so I have twelve B-25 instead of 18. The retailer is innocent, the box itself is wrong. I guess someone at Trumpeter was mathmatically challenged lol.

I found a Tamiya 1/700 scale CV-8 Hornet mostly assembled, very cleanly too. No painting done. But no box, no boats, no aircraft, no nothing, but a good clean little ship ready to paint, and scratch some detail parts. Thankfully, all the big pieces are there, including the tripod. It wass only $5.

I guess I will finish it as they are launching, and 4 have alread left. There were 16 in the Doolittle raid. It be OKCool
