This site has an engine room shot of the "Cobra." She's a Foxtrot just like the Scorpion.

Ah yes, the Scorpion. My brother and I wandered through her when she was in Sydney. I have no idea where the pics from that trip are. The Scorpion is an old "Foxtrot" class diesel boat. A little something for the old LAs and Sturgeons to chase around the North Sea.

Scorpion and I wore my invisable cloak. She is mored beside the Queen Mary in Long beach Cali. I got my Digital Cam. out and went running. It is a real, in service (sorta), operational Russian sub called Scorpion. I couldnt touch anything and the whole sub wasnt open to shoot, but I got maybe 80% of it. In my hurry I forgot to shoot it from outside lol. But, I have some good shots of it. And yes, I had to take some aspirin when I got out, hit my head about a dozen times... the Russian care taker found it quite humerous, glad I could brighten his day.
