Nautilus 1/72 laser etched deck for Revell U-Boat

Has anyone had a good look at the laser cut deck for the 1/72 Revell U-Boat? I'm wondering what I've gotten myself into! Here's a link if you haven't seen it. You can pick this up from White Ensign Model along with their photo etch set, or you can order direct from Nautilus.

Weebles-

I just got mine- very very nice- however the set is long and was not packed very well so the conning tower deck detached and a small tab broke off- it also cracked luckily at an attachement point so no damage there.

Overall- it is very well done- worth the price alone for all the holes I don't have to drill!!

Hello there:
I'm currently awaiting an etched brass decking for the Revell sub. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the company who puts it out, but it's about $50 for the works.
I feel like an expectant father with this thing in the postal system

Catsidney, the brass deck is probably from us at www.modelbrass.com

You will not be disappointed with your choice, as the etched brass detail is unsurpassed in clarity, and the kit contains many features besides the deck all in one price. The proper flooding grate patterns make the model a real head turner, and not having to open all those slits in the deck, well that alone is worth the price of admission.

If you ordered it from Squadron, I am still waiting on brass to fill their order, but I expect to fill it in a week. If you ordered from us directly, all orders have shipped that were placed by August 3rd and all orders placed by tomorrow will ship Wed. (We ship every Wed)
