I started to buy one but decided not to as my fingers and eyesight don't do well on bendy foldy stuff.
Thanks! Yeah these things can be very very brittle (I"ve broken some in the past, but you can just bring it back to the store with the receipt to replace)! I understand your eyesight problem only too well, except I have horrid eyesight from afar.

Yep! I did the LEM. It looks really cool, about 1/72 scale, but it was a BEAR to fold. Mainly the ascent stage, due to the odd shapes and fiddly bits.
Ohh damn, yeah I still have the Lunar module but not looking forward to constructing it lol... great job in building yours, anyway I could see yours?
I feel ya bro, sometimes the lighting can get me all confused... I should use one of those too! Which ones did you construct?
Have you seen the Icon X sets? They're another offbranch of metal earth that's very detailed... I really want to get the London Eye Ferris Wheel

Oh there are slight smudges but they're very hard to see! lol
Boy, the space genre seems to be a natural for that stuff. Not many compound curves on most spacecraft. Any mail order sources for that stuff? My LHS only carries a small subset of the kits, and none of the space stuff :-(

Try a better bookstore like Hastings or Barnes and Noble , OR any eclectic toy store .That's where I get mine . It's a place run by a bunch of ladies . It's called GOT TOY'S ? and there's two , One in Gruene , Texas and the other in New Braunfels , Texas

I got mine about half done . It has tried my patience , indeed . Still a helluva lot of fun ! I think these in any genre , are good training for anyone whose going to do P.E on any model and anyone who works in Paper
