1/48 Pegasus V-2 kit.

I built this for "The Race to Space" GB.

It's a very simple kit, only 12 parts and it is a snap kit.

The plastic feels like ABS.

Detail is very good, the shape looks good and it comes with a launch pad.

I decided to paint it the green/white/black late test paint. Something different.

It was a quick, nice build.

Looks great.  I've always had an appreciation of the looks of that rocket.  Built an Estes D motor version in my late teens.  Did a cammo airbrush job, really took my time.  Launched it and the nose cone and chute didnt deploy... but I have to tell you it sure was fun watching it nose over and come down like some wwii footage.  Nice build

Thanks,

John

Mach71>  Great build!  The Pegasus kit actually builds up nicely.  After the Vostok kit arrives, I may have to add one of these to the stash.

Mach71>  Good!  I liked yours so much I ordered one of my own!  Hobbylinc has them on sale for about $11.00.  I'm planning a diorama of one at White Sands in the future.

Thanks!
