Anyone ever build one of the papercraft shuttle MLPs?

Hey guys,

I've been working on a several-years-long project, based around the evolution of aviation.  The project concludes with a shuttle and stack.  I built Revell's 1/144 kit, but the included crawler is absurdly incorrect.

So, I found, on ebay, a papercraft MLP.  It's been sitting in my closet for over a year, because every time I look at it, it's just so daunting - and I've been modeling since I was 5.

So, I was wondering if anyone had built one, and maybe had a thread with in-progress photos, that I could use for inspiration.  Maybe if I could see something, other than the fairly vague instructions, I'd get a jump on this build.

And while we're at it, with today's technology, why have none of the styrene/photo etch manufacturers, jumped on the opportunity to make one?  The 27 year old revell kit still hits in the $300+ range on ebay.  There is definitely money to be made.

I'm a scratch builder. I bought one and a Launch Tower for the 1/144 Saturn V, I'm using the paper model parts as patterns to build it in styrene. Using 1/144 photoetch ship railings for both. I can post photos if you like.
