Hello all,
I just got handed a great opportunity to build a couple models for a local aircraft museum.
One is the Revell 1/144 SCA and space shuttle Columbia, the other is also a Revell 1/144 Enterprise and space lab!
they are older kits the museums caretaker had stashed away for years. i was touring the museum and i pointed out a 1/72 B-36 sitting on a shelf to my wife and told her "that's what that thing will look like if i ever get it finished..." The caretaker/tourguide heard me and asked if id be interested in building models for the museum. i jumped at the chance and a few days later i went back and i picked out these two kits.
He wants them build with Enterprise on the SCA and the Columbia on its own, simple matter of swapping the name decals between the kits.
can anyone help me with some good pictures of SCA 905 when it still had its American airlines pinstripes? the ones i come up with searching the internet are OK, but a book or something would be helpful.
thanks!
