I am wrapping up my Encore Models (old revell) uss olympia. However due to a disaster early in the build- the plastic kit-supplied base broke off. However, trying to avoid rage and stalling the build I just moved on. Now the ship is nearly complete sans a few railings and there are still two jagged gaping holes on the bottom where a base should be. I really have no idea where to go from here. Is it possible to build any kind of base where I don't need access from the top?
Any help or ideas is(are) greatly appreciated. If pictures would help I can provide them
