X-15 A2
Posted by Richkat on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 9:41 PM

I'm new to this forum and posted this in a different area, it was suggested that i repost it here.

This is my build of Ken L. West's X-15 A2 it is 1/24 scale enlarged from 1/32. It is a paper (card stock) model, downloaded and printed on my Epson wide format printer. A couple of the great things about paper modeling is the ability to enlarge or reduce the scale and no painting (well almost none, few touch ups). Also the price is easy to take. $9 is not bad! Ken has made a fantastic model that makes anyone look good.......Rich

Yikes! That is some fine card modeling. ...best card of the X-15 (or even the A2) yet, but you especially seem to have some technique down- like getting actual spherical shaping! GREAt work.

(I especially enjoyed the card Coke can.  ;^P )

Thanks for sharing

This past weekend I entered the Squadron Eagle Quest model contest in Grapevine TX. I'm proud to say I won my category (04 jets and real space) with my X-15, never thought a paper model would have a chance...Rich
