While working on a recent automobile project(White Ford Crown Victoria), I had masked off the body(white Tamiya spray) to paint the window moldings. I used a combination of Tamiya masking tape, and Bare Metal Foil. I thought that I had burnished everything down well, but my airbrushed coats of PollyScale Engine Black somehow leaked through. I was fortunately able to remove most of the offending blunder, and am now considering other alternatives. I had thought about using a very fine permanent pigment to darken the recessed panel lines, then brush paint the black up to that edge. In doing some reading(Gundam markers, Micron markers, etc,) I came across a suggestion about PITT Artist's Pens. Does anyone have any experience with them? Will they bleed with overcoats of Future/alcohol mix(50/50)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
