I find acrylic cauk a bit matt for puddles.  You want a shiny surface, so I use gloss clear.  And I don't mix any paint in.  Puddles are too shallow to have much color.  Just paint a gloss clear over the matt ground color.  That is, what I have said is for water puddles.  Puddles of oil or some other dark liquid should be colored, and before application.  Mix clear and a grey or brown.

Has any had success using clear acrylic caulking for water?

Do you thin it so its more liquidy and self leveling or just apply and smooth it out?

As for colouring, do you paint below or can you tint it before application?

Any tips or tricks would be appreciated!
