I am looking forward to the day one LHS  that carries Humbrol products gets those powders so that I can try them out. Yes, in all likelihood the emphasis on Humbrol products is a sales pitch by them to use their stuff. Although I am a huge fan of their products, I would not recommend going out and buying up their stuff to use if you already have a favorite product of that particular type on hand.

Humbrol weathering powders

Just wondering if anyone has tried the new humbrol weathering powder range. If so any comments over using ground up pastels or alternative products such as mig etc. Also I see on humbrol's instructional videos they push using other humbrol products to apply the powders such as Matt cote and decal fix. Is this just a sales pitch or would not most varnishes fix the powders in place.
