Hi all,
I'm trying to determine which issue of FSM had an excellent article about a highlighting technique used on kits with raised panel lines. I remember being impressed with the effect created by the author. It was similar to pre-shading recessed panel lines.
I can't remember which issue it was, but I'm sure it was between 2003 & 2012. I have all these issues, but don't feel like browsing through them all.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken
Ken, It is the April 2011 issue. I've made sure and keep that issue handy as I have a couple of old kits that I want to build with raised panel lines that I would like to try the method described on.

Thank you very much for your help Joe! Good luck with your old kits.

Thanks Joe.

That is always my kinda my reaction when I read back issues of Finescale and other model magazines. Its either that (forgetting) or not being interested in a particular method when I first read it.
Many times , like Ken, I will remember reading about a technique but forgetting which issue it was in. This problem is amplified many times over when you read multiple model magazines.
