Thank you for posting. I was thinking of doing one for my 1/48 Elco PT. 

One question Paul, you get glue bleed-in under the masking tape? It’s happened to me while applying water thin solvent cement on styrene taped together.

Would it be safer to tack sections away from the tape and once cured remove the tape then apply more glue to the entire join line for strength?

I would think that most any local glass shop would be able to cut acrylic to size.

As always a joy to watch. Just wondering, where would one find someone to cut the actylic?
