Handling P.E rails-And other small stuff!
Posted by Tanker-Builder on Saturday, May 15, 2021 1:01 PM

Hi;

          Does your mind tremble at the thought of all that P.E. you have to put on that Plane,Ship, or Armor? I cannot remember for the life of me. There is a package of thingies(Sticks-Green) with a drop on the end. No label. Someone threw it in my tool box.

           Now that drop looks like someone dipped them in Honey. But they are just barely sticky. They will hold P.E.rails and ladders( Ship Term for stairs) to install them AND are great for installing brass on model Trains, so I would imagine Armor would be no different. This of course would cover Planes too. Sadly, I used these sticks for putting the throttles( Three) on the panel for the Ram Jet Controls on the Treib-Flugel!It's really a shame the cockpit is so buried for the size,(1/35).

         I think it's the best " Office" I have done in a while. Whatever those sticks are, I hope I find them somewhere in Hobby Lobby. I only have two left! I will recognize them even if the package is a different color.

Probably not the same brand, but is this what you're looking for?

I wonder if those are less sticky than that tacky putty stuff I put on the end of a toothpick. For the smallest of things I have had better luck just wetting the toothpick with my mouth.

A number Army Viet Nam scans from hundreds yet to be done:

Have had the great fortune to be on every side of the howitzers.
