Yeah!

The Date. May 14, 1956, The place, Grandma's kitchen Table. Newspaper laid down carefully. TUBE of Glue at the ready. Aurora model, Yak Fighter in Pink? On the table.  The Hobby shop gave grandma a discount cause the plane was Pink!

All the parts cut off their sprues first! OOPS! Oh well I figured it out. No Landing gear, but a nice triangular stand! In clear plastic! Like the Canopy there were spots that weren't clear afterwards.Luckily, I was able to hide most of them. The Testors Pink, didn't match the plane either!

One little bottle of thinner, and boy did that get dirty fast cleaning that ten cent brush! Decals? Yup! they fit right inside those imprints with the raised edges. I was, from working on my Lionel Trains, one who cut very close to the sticker and decal edges! Black with Talc(From my old paint stash) Nose and Tailpipe. But Now here comes the fiddlesticks. The Pilot was molded to both halves and the glue made his head sag. Too Much Glue, Naw!  Me, No way.Oh that's it's that that stringy Testors stuff,Yeah, Porbably to much that time. I'll fix it after school tomorrow. Shoot, had glue on my finger, Didn't see it, and right on top of the Canopy, There's a fingerprint!

         There's my Fiddlesticks!
