I just brought a bottle of Mr Mark Softer ........and the instructions (if they are instructions )appear to be in Japanese.

Could someone please explain the best way to use this product.

Cheers

Simon.

Hmm,
I have some too, but I haven't used it yet. I *think* you just brush it overtop of the decals and it will soften them and *suck* them down to the surface of the model. I've heard this stuff is as good as MicroSol and therefore very powerful. The decal supposedly 'bubbles' when it's applied, but this is normal. I think you are supposed to just let it dry and it will all work out in the end. Not totally sure though so pick a scrap decal and try it out.

Well i have used the Mr Mark Softer before and works pretty well for me (at least i like the way the decals look), what i do is that i apply the decal, clean it with a paper towel or something to remove the excess of water, i let it dry for about 2 hrs, and then i apply the Mark Softer, i apply a "wash" with the brush over the decal and let the decal "wet" (with the product) for about 3 mins, the decal starts to wrinkle a little bit (dont worry) and then with a damp cloth i press over the decal to take out the exces of product and to fix it properly to the plane or car or armor or whatever, as soon as you press the decal with the damp cloth try to do it firmly, the decal will be "softer" like more flexible, so if there is any detail under the decal with this product the decal will cover the detail with out breaking and also will "dissapear" the edge of the decal. I dont know if i made myself clear here but if theres anything else that i can do for you just let me know, i hope this helps a little bit, i also would suggest you to practice with some decals and some kits before doing it in a mayor project

My very best regards!

Just use it as you would any other decal solvent.
