Hello, whats the best way detach glued parts.

well it is deffinetly not a fun process but if you must.

I have used a hobby knife with a brand new blade and just sort of worked my way until the piece came off.

If you are using CA glue, they make solvents that will let you unglue. They might also work for regular glue but I am not sure.

It all depends on how they were glued together. For styrene glues like the old tube cements, put the kit in the freezer. Once cold enough, many of the glue seams should pop apart under a little hand/finger pressure. For liquid glue seams, the addition of a knife/razor saw will probably be in order. For superglued parts, try a cyanoacrylate debonder. If you can't find a debonder in your hobby store or online, you might try acetone on the part.
