weights for radome Hawker Hunter 1:32
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, September 23, 2005 5:01 PM
I have a 1:32 scale Hawker Hunter that I have been sleeping on for a few months, for two reasons; the first being that I havent bought the far more detailed ejection seat, and the other being that I need to pack the radome with 'X' amount of weight, does anyone have any suggestions based on experience as for what to use and how much.

There is a number of things you can use as weights. Things like solder, tire weights etc where ever you can squeeze it in.

To determine the approximate amount, I generally tape the model together in major sections as complete as possible. Balance it where the main wheels go and then add weight in the cockpit until it tilts forward. Add a little for good measure and build the model. As long as the weight is ahead of the main wheels, it should balance up ok.
