You have answered your own question. Well partly. Placing the fuselage in warm water should work (It does for me) however I find that it works best to secure it to the flat surface first with rubber bands and a straight edge (Small metal ruler etc.) to spread the tension evenly over the entire fuselage.

Once the part has been warmed I remove it from the water and add more rubber bands of smaller diameter to tighten it down. I continue until the part is flat against the surface it is bound to.

Thanks for the reply.
I've done the hot water and the rubber band part. I'll keep the part in traction till tomorrow. I do hope this will help, even if it is only a little bit because the rest can be fixed in the construction. Anyway, it would be much easier to dry fit the parts, if this would work out.
