I tried this technique on a FW-190, just punched a bunch of random shaped holes on two cards, held them off the kit about 1/4" and got a great "soft" camoflage look.

Hey cool, another Mark. I believe the easiest way for you to do it would be to punch holes in an index card and spray threw. There was a FSM article a couple of months ago that explained it real well. I have used the same method myself and it works well

Painting German Airplanes

I am starting to build 1/48th German aircraft. My main problem is getting the camoflauge irregular specks on the sides of the planes. Should I make a template to do this? How do you guys go about doing this.

Thanks in advance,

Mark
