dadfad,
The July 2002 issue of FSM, page 26, has an extensive article on how to apply aluminum foil. If you can't locate a copy, let me know and I'll scan it and send it to you via e-mail.

Yes bare-metal foil is very good but not very easy to apply , it takes a bit of practise. I bought mine at my local Hobby shop for around $10 Aussie Dollars.

You can use bare-metal foil. Its available at many hobby shops, and it comes i think in a 8 x 11 foil sheet. All you have to do is to cut it, peel it off the backing paper, stick it on the airplane, and then burnish it with a q-tip. You should try to cut the foil to match the panel lines.

I plan on building a 1:48 scale B-29 superfortres in the near future and I was wondering if anybody knew how to apply the aluminum foil, do you need a special kind, and where can you find it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
