Well, there have been quite a few posts about Future. If you do a search you can pull them all up. For me Future is used for....

1. Sealing paint for the application of decals and to protect the primary finish.
2. For aircraft canopy glass. It gives it an excellent finish.
3. As a final finish for a clear gloss.

There was a post about how it can be made into a clear flat finish too. Another on how it can be used to glue clear plastic parts in place. The beauty of this product is that you can apply it several different ways (spray with airbrush, hand paint with brush, or just dip it) and it comes out great. It will also never yellow on you, and unlike laquers it wont "model" on the paint.
Have fun and welcome to the forum and hobby.

Yet another question about Future

Hi all,

I'm pretty new to this hobby. I see a lot of you guys commenting on the use of Future floor polish. What is it used for? Is it just to provide a glossy surface for the decals? Is it used to seal in the paint job?

Thanks.
