Well, if it's Klean-Strip brand it is 100% Ethyl Acetate. I don't know muh about it, and I've never tried it.
I've been wondering what the various solvent-type cements were. Has anyone actually determined this by analyzing samples? I have heard speculation of MEK and a few other samples, but what I have heard are mostly guesses. I do know folks have used MEK successfully. Others have used acetone. It would be nice to know for sure by brand.

Fortunately, I was able to buy MEK from Lowes at clearance and never needed to try the substitute.
HawkeyeHobbies mentioned Weld-On #3 as a possible substitute
