If you're separately (i.e. acrylics over enamels, enamels over acrylics, lacquers over acrylics) testing paints over one another for compatibility should you airbrush or brush them on?
Air brush them in light coats. You can air brush lacquers over enamels in light coats but it's different if you hand brush it since the lacquer may react differently. There's another similar thread going on.
