I found a can of Testors Airbrush Thinner, Blue Can, Item 8824 and would like to know if this can be used with Model Master Enamals?

Thanks,

That's what you want to use.  See here.

All the way at the bottom of the list.  Part number 8824.

Alternatively, you can go to Home Depot and pick up a can of Kleen Strip Paint Thinner (100% Mineral Spirits).  It works just as well as Model Master Airbrush thinner, and costs about a couple bucks per pint rather than the $9.44 per half-pint.  I've always used Kleen Strip Mineral Spirits fro airbrushing Model Maste enamels and have never encountered any problems or incompatibilities.  Semi-recently , as an experiment, I picked a smaller jar of the Model Master brand thinner, and I have not been able to detect any difference whatsoever, so I'd say to save your money and with the cheap hardware store stuff.

As I said, not only have I used the inexpensive thinner for years without any troubles, but I've also used model Master brand, and found not one whit of difference.  There are a lot of things that I would recomend buying the more expensive alternative just for that extra quality, but thinner is not one of them.

70% of your hobby tools and materials are best purchased OUTSiDE the hobby shop unless money is no object.  Hobby manufacturers gouge hell outta people for putting ordinary hardware items and materials into pretty little bottles, cans, and packages...

What Abarne said.

I purchased a can of Kleen Strip Mineral Spirits and noticed that it has a milky white appearance.  Am I using the right product?

That sounds odd.  It should be colorless and transparent.
