I'm looking at Micro Mark's catalog(great thing in the bathroom, better than Reader's Digest)  - the pads right? much cheaper...

You'll need to go much finer than that.  Get yourself a good set of polishing pads from micromark.com.  The pads go all the way up to 12,000.  600 will be good to get the initial seam out, but you'll need progressively finer grits in order to really get a decent shine.

I never thin it and, yes, it's the same thing just with a "new" name.

Do y'all thin future brfore brushing?

Also, is "Pledge/Future" the same as old school Future?

I just started using Future myself and I have brushed it a couple of times.  One thing I've noticed is that a little goes a long way, so you have to have a light touch.

I know you can airbrush future floor polish but can you brush it on with a paint brush? I hope this is the right forum section.
