Priming and Cleaning Mr. surfacer 1200?
Posted by Greasy on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 1:42 PM

I have some Mr Surfacer 500, 1000, 1200 and some Mr Leveling Thinner.  I have used it as a seem filler and as pinhole filler as well.  I want to try it as a primer for a Revell Cylon Raider.  For the 1200 I do not have to thin it to air brush it correct?

Also I don't want to waste good thinner on cleaning my airbrush or brushes.  What is a cheap alternative cleaner?  I tried mineral sprits and it did not seem to clean.  Does lacquer use a different cleaner?

Thanks,
