You can also use white glue thinned with water. It dries dead flat.

I am assuming that you have already applied the final finish coat (either flat or semi-gloss) and then super glued the parts to the model - I usually apply a quick coat of the final finish to the super glued area using a small pointed brush

Hello,

After painting and applying a future dull coat I had to glue some last minute parts with super glue and I was not as neat as I should have been and now can see some of the super glue which is shiny. What is the best way to get rid of the shine?
