Hi, yes I would, it's just that I live in a remote part of the UK (they do exist!) and other than the net, the only paint I can get hold of easily is Humbrol...

Is there a reason that you don't want to use the Gunze Aqueous paint?   IMHO I think that it is some of the best paint out there.  Sure, mixing it can be a bit of a hassle, and mixing it means that you have to buy 2 bottles instead of 1, but if mixed correctly the colors are spot on.

Plus, the paint is very tough.  Just the other day I painted some piece with Gunze Sangyo paint.  I put masking tape over is and sheared the tape off.  In other words I pulled it of sideways...not directly away from the piece.  That didn't affect the underlying paint at all.  If that were Model Master Acryl the paint would have come right off.

I highly recommend using Gunze Sangyo.

The numbers you've quoted are Gunze Sangyo Aqueous Hobby Color paint codes. You can find a list here which provides Humbrol equivalents for most, if not all of the codes quoted: http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/colorcharts/stuff_eng_colorcharts_gunze.htm

Hi all,

Building a Hobbyboss Rafale C at the moment. I'm in the uk, and my only easy access is to Humbrol paints.

Could anyone help regarding equivalent shades? Alternatively if you could point me towards a web resource please do so! I'm a distinct novice, so please excuse ignorance...

I need the following:

H8 Silver
H12 Flat black
H317 Dark gull grey
H304 Olive drab
H316 White Insignia
H80 Khaki Green
H77 Tire Black
H76 Burnt Iron (it's a 1/48 so this is important for the engine cans!
H307 Dark Compass Ghost Grey
H315 Light gull

All help welcomed!
