                        Bob, a 60 watt is what I think I used to use, although it may have been a 100 watt. It's been so long that I have forgotten. Confused [%-)]

                        Maybe I need to search through my old postings when I mentioned it years back.

                        Mine was under a cardboard box on a covered deck, no direct sunlight. It's the heat, not the light that kills styrene.

                        Sorry, no pics.

                         

                        I would suggest just slowing down and letting the paint cure. Far more important than just letting it dry.

                         Don't know about your idea, may help to have some kind of openning for air to pass through. I can say, never, ever put your model on a light bulb to help dry the paint. No, it wasn't me, but my BRILLIANT brother. (in his defence, he doesn't build much at all) but still, you'd think someone in charge of a 40 million dollar Marine corp jet would have a little more sence than that!!!

                        Hi

                          Everyone

                                   I paint mostly with acrylics. Usually Tamiya or MM Acryl. I live in Colorado Springs, CO.  Right now (2:30pm) it is 96 degrees and 14% humidity. So.........

                        What about putting my models outside to dry and curing?  Would this speed up the process?

                        I have a covered deck and would cover the model with the top of a cake pan.

                        Just though this might be an interesting discussion or question.
