Floquil Crystal Coat
Posted by jimbot58 on Sunday, August 16, 2009 3:43 PM

This is only something I wondered about for myself. Sometime ago, an article in the pages of FSM led me to the use of Crystal Coat for my choice of a clear coating under my decals. It sprays on fairly easy, levels nice and smooth and I simply polish it a bit with some toothpaste on a cotton cloth and my decals work nice. It seems impervious to any decal solutions I have thrown at it so far.

I just wondered if anybody else ever uses it. I know many swear by Future, but I have had mixed results with that. Everybody has their choice of what to use so I just wondered if there are any more rebels like myself?

*******

On my workbench now:

It's all about classic cars now!

Why can't I find the "Any" key on my keyboard?
