Badger 105 Patriot?
Posted by Killjoy on Friday, August 21, 2009 1:19 AM

I read the review on this airbrush here recently, and as I love my 155 anthem for the way it sprays, and my 100LG for the gravity feed, this seems like a match made in heaven.  Now.....

Where do I find one!?!  None of the online retailers even have a peep about this brush, and the only ones I have found are overpriced on ebay.  Does anyone have info on release date and/or who will be carrying it?

Thanks!

Chris

Drop Ken at Badger an email and he should be able to hook you up. Nothing like going direct to the source. Smile [:)]

I am really interested in how Badger positions this Patriot airbrush with respect to the 100LG and Renegade-Velocity airbrush.

You might want to look into the new Paasche Talon.  It's a gravity feed and you can get a kit with all the tips.

I just got mine and am playing around with it.  It isn't anything like the other Paasche airbrushes, completly new design.

Here is a link if you are interested.

I have one on the way for testing but I am guessing it is pretty much the equivelent of the Omni 4000 with the other nice features the Anthem has such as finger tight air cap, quick release needle chuck, etc.

I presume that it is the IPMS National show price. Do Badger extend the special to forum readers who did not make it to the National?

Yes, that was an introductory show price. You'd have to ask Ken about extending that beyond yesterday.

I was one behind the guy who got the last one from the Badger stand on Saturday morning.   I paid for one anyway and it is supposed to ship today from the Badger plant.   Having it shipped saved a bit of space in the already stuffed suitcase.

Nice brush & Ken is a good guy.  Contact him @ Badger and see about the price

I've been using it for about a month. It's a great airbrush.

I wrote up a review-

Ed, I nearly met you! I was looking at the brush Sat morning too. After looking it over I put it back down and the guy behind me asked Ken if that was the new Patriot. I talked it up, telling the guy it was a killer deal. Ken told him it was the last one and the guy says "I'll take it!". You must have been right behind him.

I decided to buy, but put the brush down to go two tables down & check with a buddy running the MAL Hobbies stand on what kind of adapter I'd need to hook the brush up to my Harbor Freight airbrush hose.   Then I got back in line.

He gave me some bum dope.  When I got home & checked the HF hose has an adapter for Badger.   Oh well, I spent three bucks for a Pasche to Badger adapter which I can't use.   I'll hold on to it.  Maybe some day
