clear parts oversprayed

How much overspray are you talking about?  If it's just a little, you can use a round wooden toothpick.  Shape the end to it looks like a flat-head screwdriver, then just scrape the paint off.  I use this method to clean up around canopy frames.

If you have the overspray on something like a car windscreen, you can use some toothpaste (not the gel kind) or car polish and rub it over the paint with an old t-shirt.  You'll remove the paint and polish the windscreen at the same time! :)

You can use brake fluid or alcohol.  They won't fog clear plastic.  If you just want to remove a small area take an old tee shirt and dip it in alcohol and rub the overspray.  

Super Clean degreaser will remove acrylics and enamels as will Easy-Off oven cleaner.

 

I used Pollyscale Easy Lift Off once, but it did fog the clear plastic parts-not real bad, but enough to notice.

I remove enamel paint with soaking in straight bleach.  Have done this to plenty of models in fact I'm doing it on a few right now - might take some time - but it doesnt attack the plastic and works fine on clear parts.  Just make sure the container can be sealed.

If you used acrylic paints, simply dunk the part in denatured alcohol, isopropyl alcohol or Windex (or the appropriate thinner for your acrylic paint). However, if you used enamel paint, these will be ineffective.

DO NOT dunk the part in enamel or lacquer thinner.

Someone should be along shortly with sugestions for removal of enamel paint.
