Tamiya Acrylics as base for Alclad?

It would seem that gloss black is the preferred base for Alclad on NMF aircraft? Does anyone forsee any issue using Tamiya Acrylic gloss black as a base for Alclad, provided its given enough curing time? If it makes any odds, this is for an all NMF 1/72 B-58.

I have used Tamiya acrylic gloss black as a base for Alclad II with no ill effects.  I have also used Future as a base and that worked well too. Thumbs Up [tup]

Personally, I would use Gloss black Krylon decanted from a can, although I have had good results with Humbrol enamel gloss black. I had a bad experience with Alclad and acrylic undercoat, where the undercoat was left to cure for a month, and the Alclad still cracked!
