Could it be that the needle bearing is leaking and allowing paint to get into the air valve and cause it to stick?

Iwatah Hp-CS trigger problem ?
Posted by plane mad on Sunday, September 6, 2009 7:35 PM
The trigger on my Iwata HP-CS is sticking in the down position. Can anyone help please ?

I have cleaned out the air valve guide body ,air valve, spring , trigger and the main body of the airbrush and lubed these parts but after a while the trigger seems to get stuck in the down position again.

my cleaning is quite thorough so I'm thinking that the air valve could be worn ( although it doesn't look to be ) or the air valve spring needs replacing. the airbrush is 4 years old.

Anyone else had this problem, any help appreciated , cheers Pete.
