Airbrush flow keeps on doing this...

G'day all My Paasche VL doesn't maintain a consistent flow of air. When I'm holding it down and pulling back to let some paint through it always sprays for a few seconds whilst gradually dying down to almost no trace of air or paint coming out, completely pauses for a second then the flow comes out again in correspondance to the trigger setting and endlessly repeats. Has anybody experienced this with their airbrush, Paasche or anything>? Cheers!
