                        On my current project, the color I need for the bottom is not available in an acrylic paint...  I'm doing the HAsegawa A4-M, topside is Gull Grey, bottom is Insignia White which is only availablein MM Enamel.  Question is, is there any reason I cant paint the top with acrylic and bottom with enamel?  Also, do I thin the enamel with mineral spirits rather than the alcohol used for Acrylic?

                        Yes Mike. There is no problem with using the two. Just make sure one half is fully cured before spraying the other. You should paint light to dark anyhow so spray the enamel bottom thinned with mineral spirits (alcohol is not compatible with enamels) and let it dry for 48 hours and then spray the top with the Gull Gray acrylic.
